Youth Participation Consultation
Posted on
On a rainy Saturday morning 5 young people came together to discuss the Say Something if You See Something youth participation campaign. After a short icebreaker they got to work to gain an understanding of the campaign so far. They then looked at what they liked and did not like about advertising campaigns that already exist. This helped them filter what they wanted to see in a new campaign and who to focus the campaign on.
They developed some really clear ideas about how the campaign could look. After a late lunch (we discovered pizza is hard to come by on a ‘match day’) we got to work on risks and definitions finishing in a creation of some wonderful poster ideas (more about these later….). As we came to the end of the day – the sun shone down on Derby to send them on their way after a very productive day.
