NWG has had a Makeover!

Posted on

Following our announcement last week (14.09.16) of the launch of the Child Sexual Exploitation Response Unit , we are delighted to present our new look NWG. We have spent the summer re-evaluating and refining our image. Since our goals and audience has changed over time, rebranding gives us the opportunity to demonstrate our growth and independence.

Many of you who have been associated with us for a long time will know that the network has expanded beyond our imagination over the last 5 years; starting out as the National Working Group for Sexually Exploited Children and Young People (a mouthful) with 256 members in July 2011 we then shortened our name to the NWG Network in 2013, when our membership had grown to 1500.

Today we have over 12,500 dissemination points through more than 300 organisations, with this growth and the additional work of the unit this felt a good time to update our image, despite the addition of the Response Unit, the network services offered to you continue as they were with our forums , learning and development seminars, resources , surgeries , E-Learning and professional support and advice.

Benefits to members continue to represent excellent value for money, you can read the benefits of joining the network at https://nwgnetwork.org/resources/resourcespublic?cat=85
We hope you like our new look.
