“This year, Team Baxter have decided to raise money for a charity incredibly close to our hearts – NWG Network, based in Derby. A group of us will be taking part in a years worth of challenges to raise money for this charity that helps raise awareness of child grooming, child sexual exploitation and helping the children and families that have been affected. The biggest challenge is Rat Race – a 20 mile extreme mud run with over 200 obstacles. Not everyone will be taking part in all challenges, but over 10 challenges will be completed over the course of the year. We also want to raise awareness to the fact this doesn’t just happen to children, but adults too. So, please help us raise as much as we can.”

We will be taking part in everything from the X-Runners, Tough Mudder’s, the Wolf Run’s as well as the world’s largest obstacle race/assault course, Rat Race – which is 20 miles with over 200 obstacles (this race alone will take approx. 7 hours to complete!).

Our first challenge kicks off in March and we have one (sometimes more than one!) each month until November.

We have already raised £130, and we’d love to go above and beyond our target.
