The Home Office has published an International Statement regarding end-to-end encryption.

The statement, which is co-signed by seven countries, calls on tech companies to ensure they are giving due consideration to the online safety of the public when implementing measures such as end-to-end encryption.

The International Statement and the accompanying press notice have both been published on GOV.UK.
