The SEND Dynamic C.I.C. is a brand-new community interest company limited by guarantee that is being created to provide free and affordable information, advice and advocacy services to parents of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).They are looking for Advisory Board Members and Directors, Are you interested?

Advisory Panel Members Required (Unpaid)CICs are ‘not for private profit’ companies that exist to benefit a particular community. All CICs have an asset lock body this ensures that if the company ceases to exist its assets are retained for community benefit. The asset lock body for The SEND Dynamic C.I.C. is Disability Direct, a registered charity established in 1993.

The SEND Dynamic C.I.C is a brand new community interest company limited by guarantee that is being created to provide free and affordable information, advice and advocacy services to parents of
children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Our aim is that parents of children with SEND will be empowered to understand their children’s rights and how to navigate the SEND
education, health and care system. We are looking to create an Advisory Panel comprising of relevant
professionals related to SEND including an Education Solicitor/Barrister, SEND Law Advocate, Educational Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Speech and Language Therapist, Specialist
Teacher, and an Independent Social Worker. Members of the Advisory Panel would offer subject matter advice to the C.I.C. Board of Directors on their individual areas of expertise on a pro bono basis in accordance with agreed terms of reference for the Panel.
