Would you like to share your perspective on Police and multi-agency response to child criminal exploitation?

A PhD student from the University of Liverpool, Shelley Cathers, is examining professionals’ perspectives towards Police and multi-agency response to child criminal exploitation. She is seeking insight from a range of professionals including, education, health, and social care, youth offending teams, police, and any other relevant field.

Professionals are asked to participate in either a 60-minute interview (for specialists) or a focus group (for all other professionals).

This project will ask questions about professionals’ roles and responsibilities, what works when responding to child criminal exploitation, and the challenges professionals experience when working in this field.

The discussion will ask you to reflect on your experience working with the Police and other organisations.

What will be the outcome of this research?
Your anonymised feedback will be combined with feedback from across professionals to highlight the
range of work being undertaken to prevent and respond to child criminal exploitation, along with
recognising professional challenges, and suggestions professionals have for addressing these. Findings will be shared via:

• Professional reports
• Academic papers
• Presentations/conferences
