currently conducting research to explore the links between autism and missing. We would like to hear from any professionals working with or supporting autistic people. This might include social workers, care home staff, health care staff, those working in education and others. We are seeking to understand people’s knowledge and experiences of autistic children and adults going missing, exploring:  

• Why autistic people go missing  
• What risks autistic people may face while missing  
• The support needs of autistic missing people, with a focus on prevention of missing and support on return  
• Good practice in responding to autistic people going missing 

We are currently conducting an anonymous survey, and findings will be used to write a research report as well as policy and practice recommendations.
