Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS FT is an acute Trust providing healthcare and community services for over 400,000 people across Derbyshire, with more than 4500 employees across Chesterfield Royal Hospital, Primary Care and Derbyshire Support and Facilities Services. In 2020, the Trust received a Good overall rating from CQC with levels of outstanding practice in Urgent and Emergency care services, Medical Care and Surgery.

The Trust is seeking an exceptional leader who will bring outstanding communication, engagement and facilitation skills to influence and build relationships internally and externally, including across the Integrated Care System and nationally, with a proven commitment to fostering including and advancing equity with an unwavering focus on the delivery of healthcare services that meet the needs and expectations of the communities it serves.

Previous Chair experience is not essential, nor is experience in the NHS. The time commitment for this individual will be circa 2 days/week.
