Recruitment Opportunity – Participation Practitioner (ETE Specialist) Abianda

We are looking for a Participation Practitioner (Education, Training and Employment Specialist) to join our Participation team. This is an exciting new role where you will be a key member of the team working directly with young women and girls to bring about systems change for those affected by criminal exploitation and violence, ensuring that young women’s voices are at the heart of decision-making and change.
With your colleagues, you will create and deliver group work sessions, in addition to our 10-day leadership and development programme Elevate and support the success of our Young Women’s Advisory Group (YWAG) using Abianda’s unique model of practice. You will have a specific responsibility for developing key external partnerships, in support of providing education, training and employment (ETE) opportunities to all young women who are engaging with the Participation team. The role is also responsible for providing pastoral support and rights-based, person-centred advocacy for young women and girls affected by or at risk of criminal exploitation.
Details of the role:
- Salary: £30,006 per annum, plus pension (reviewed annually)
- Full-time (35 hours per week)
- Fixed-term contract until December 2025 (with hope to extend dependent on funding)
- 25 days holiday per year (plus 3 to be taken in Dec when the office is closed), plus bank holidays
- Hybrid working, with at least 2 days in the office (Highbury, N5) and some working from home
- We can offer flexible working arrangements
- Monthly clinical supervision with a skilled and experienced psychotherapist
- Abianda understands the importance of investing in staff and offers a training and development budget for all our employees
