The NWG is seeking examples of effective anti-racist and decolonial practice from multi agency partners to build an evidence base addressing racial inequity and harm in child exploitation and safeguarding.

The NWG Network is currently working in collaboration with our Health Partners to request evidence from multi-agency partners in relation Anti-Racist Practice. We are currently seeking examples of good practice and evidence in addressing racial equity and racial harm in child exploitation and safeguarding. We are particularly keen to hear from a range of agencies about ways that they have implemented anti-racist and decolonial practice. This could be in relation to attempts they have made to address the disparities experienced by children, young people and families from racially and ethnically minoritised backgrounds who are also subject to child exploitation and safeguarding. This could include but not limited to training initiatives, workforce initiatives, audits & service evaluations, service improvement projects, lived experience involvement, service redesign, system wide attempts to address/challenge regressive language etc.

We are keen to meet with individuals/agencies who would like to share this evidence and practice, and support contributing to the evidence base.
