Chief Executive Officer Job Vacancy
Posted on
The Marie Collins Foundation (MCF) is an influential charitable organisation working in the UK and internationally, with an enviable reputation for working tirelessly in support of children and their families to help them recover from the effects of child abuse and sexual exploitation both online and offline.
Following the retirement of MCF’s founder and CEO, Tink Palmer MBE, an opportunity exists to inspire and lead our small but highly dedicated team. The Charity’s vision is to ensure that all children who suffer sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) via the internet and otherwise are supported to recover and live safe and fulfilling lives free from fear and positive about their future. Our aim is to ensure that the response to children and their families who have suffered harm via the internet and mobile technologies is based on sound, evidence-based practice. Our objective is to increasingly expand our global reach as the challenges of online CSAE are realised worldwide by focusing on four key themes which form the strands of our strategic plan 2020-2025, namely Advocacy, Education, Innovation and Recovery.
We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic leader who can inspire and lead our committed staff group and who can work with our Trustees to deliver our 5-year strategy.
Whilst we need someone who understands our work, our particular focus is on finding an individual with demonstrable skills in the fields of charity/third sector leadership, including public speaking on behalf of the charity with government, media and other key stakeholders, in addition to proven fundraising experience from foundations, government departments and private donors.
If you have a genuine passion to make a positive difference to children’s lives and want the opportunity to experience unrivalled job satisfaction, we would be delighted to hear from you.
