Online challenges and crazes have become a key trend to be aware of when supporting and educating young people about how to stay safe online.

Young people are always looking for the latest app or site to go on, and if they come to you talking about social media there are lots of things to consider.
Here, we will help answer the big questions that parents and carers may have when their child asks about signing up for a new social media app, including:

Twitter release Circle – a guide to the latest feature
Users can now mark their tweets as a “Circle” post, and then select which followers they want to add to their Twitter Circle.
Only those who are added can view that user’s Circle tweet. Other users who haven’t been added to the Circle post will not be able to see the post, its likes, comments or any engagement it receives.
