A 12-week public consultation on changes to the domestic abuse legal guidance and domestic abuse policy statement has been launched. The consultation period will run from 4^th April 2022 until 26^th June 2022.

The revised guidance aims to tackle misleading myths and stereotypes head-on, and lists a number of ways victims can appear in a domestic abuse setting to help prosecutors and investigators build the strongest case possible, whilst the policy statement sets out our ambition to secure justice in every possible domestic abuse case.
