Families as Safeguarding Partners: Embedding a culture change Organised by NWG

Online

This webinar will provide you with a foundation to build upon working with families, and how embedding this approach through strategy and through practice, it becomes the culture in your service and why this is so important.

Taking the learning from the latest research as well as examples from across the country, we will take you through some of the principles of working with families as safeguarding partners and applying this to your practice.

This webinar will be delivered online by NWG’s Families and Community Lead, Maria, and our Trainer, Sarah, both of whom are passionate about the inclusion and strengthening of parents as key partners in tackling exploitation.

We would recommend that this foundation session is followed on with other modules for Working Alongside Families as Safeguarding Partners in order to strengthen practice.

  • Making meetings matter
  • Planning the ending of service involvement
  • A family with lived experience

Dates and times of available modules can be found, and booked here; NWG’s Eventbrite page
