During this session delegates will develop approaches to working with older children in preparation for transition into adulthood. We will discuss and consider how perceptions of adolescents can impact on our practice and services. The training will support understanding and the implementation of relevant legislation and practice guidance surrounding transition. Delegates will be provided with guidance on planning for transition and bridging the gap between Adult and Children’s Services, as well as working with child exploitation victims into adulthood.

The session is beneficial to anyone working within safeguarding and child exploitation including teachers, Social Care teams, police, health practitioners and the third sector.

This webinar will be delivered online by NWG’s Education and Transition Lead, Steve Baguley who is incredibly passionate about bridging the gap between children’s and adult services in order to best support vulnerable young people and adults.
