Human Trafficking – Awareness Raising by Myth Busting

This short myth-busting session was originally written to support UN World Day Against Trafficking in Persons 2023.

Human Trafficking is an international and national problem that we all need to understand and come together to combat.

This one-hour session is designed to give you information about

• What Human Trafficking is
• The scale of this abuse nationally
• The UK Response to Human Trafficking
• How children are targeted and groomed for Human Trafficking
• Signs that might indicate that a child is being groomed for Human Trafficking or is a victim of Human Trafficking
• How to respond to Human Trafficking to protect children and hold the abusers accountable for the abuse and harm they cause.

Protecting children is EVERYBODY’s responsibility and with that in mind, this course is open to everyone because uniting together can raise awareness and help stop Human Trafficking.
