NWG Safeguarding in Sports Forum Organised by NWG
This quarter’s Safeguarding in Sports forum will focus on identifying and learning from good practice.
We are honoured to be joined by colleagues from Jersey FA. Colleagues will share the learning from their recent safeguarding inspection, including their responses to ongoing challenges and the implementation of new initiatives and training programmes to support staff in ensuring more robust safeguarding responses.
We are also pleased to have Keith Oddy join us again to share his insights as an Independent Safeguarding Officer to Sport National Governing Bodies and Leisure Industry. Keith will discuss what makes sports settings safer environments for children and young people. Keith is a trusted and valued member of our network, and we are looking forward to welcoming him back to our forum.
The forum will be an opportunity to hear from our guest speakers and for attendees to participate in group interactive discussions, enabling participants to network and share ideas and examples of good practice.
