NWG are delighted to welcome those working with parents and families, particularly those working with exploitation to our forum.

Theme-WORKING WITH PARENTS/CARERS TO SAFEGUARD CHILDREN IN SPORTS SETTINGS.  We are pleased to welcome Graham Smith from the Child Protection in Sport Unit (Wales) to share their resources around enhancing how we can work alongside parents/carers.  We will then be joined by Kev Murphy and Angie Harper from the NWG Safeguarding in Sport team at NWG who will present their Safe to Play resource and share how this is being used to raise awareness with parents/carers in grassroots sports settings. There will also be time for discussions to hear about what areas are doing locally so that we can learn from each other .

This is an opportunity to hear from the group about what they are doing locally working with families and safeguarding partners.
