NWG Working Alongside Families Forum Organised by NWG

Online FREE

NWG are delighted to welcome those working with parents and families particularly those working with exploitation to our forum.

The forum aims to bring practitioners and strategic leads from across all sectors in exploitation safeguarding to learn from practice, research and the voices of families to enhance responses to exploitation by working with parents/carers as safeguarding partners.

Each quarter the theme will change based on the group and it is an opportunity to hear from the group about what they are doing locally, regionally and nationally about what is working well and current challenges.

In this NWG Working Alongside Families as Safeguarding Partners Forum,  we are pleased to be joined by Debra Walker from the Catalyst Project in Stoke on Trent.

Debra will share how her role within the Catalyst team is making a difference for children and families through collaborative working alongside the child, parents/carers, education and local services to reduce school exclusions with relational working  at the centre.

Maria Cassidy NWG Families and Communities lead will also share NWG updates, reports and present on the national work she is developing around supporting parents/carers of repeat missing.  There will as always be a dedicated space to share the work you are doing locally.
