About the Centre

The role of the Centre of Expertise on Child Sexual Abuse is to identify, generate and share high quality evidence on what works to prevent and tackle child sexual abuse, including child sexual exploitation. It will also focus on turning evidence into practical solutions for practitioners and commissioners across local authorities, police, health services and the voluntary sector.

The Centre is funded by the Home Office and led by Barnardo’s in partnership with academics and statutory agencies.
