Muslim Mental Health in Schools

Muslim Mind Collaborative are devising a toolkit of resources for teaching professionals and school staff, to help them support Muslim mental health in their schools. Muslims possess the youngest age profile of all religions – 1 in 12 school children in the UK are of Muslim background and almost half of all British Muslims are under 25 years of age. This, coupled with a rising mental health crisis amongst young people means the issue of Muslim mental health in schools is one of national salience.

This survey will take approximately five minutes to complete and is aimed at staff, management and governors of primary and secondary schools. You do not have to be Muslim to take part. The survey will focus on specific questions relating to faith literacy relating to Islam and Muslims, and more general questions relating to mental health support for Muslim children in schools.

Answers will remain anonymous and not traced back to any individual. By taking part you are happy to have your responses recorded for the purposes of this research.
