National Exploitation Prevention Programme delivered by The Children’s Society
Posted on
The Prevention Programme is currently arranging consultations with groups of young people across England and Wales where we will be gathering their insight into the delivery of educational content relating to exploitation in schools. Some of this will be looking at the resources used by police when they deliver sessions to young people on child criminal exploitation. We will also be looking at the ways teachers deliver content during PHSCE.
This is a Home Office commissioned piece of work which will be ongoing over the next several months and we are keen to ensure diversity of groups across England and Wales. We are therefore exploring with partners across these two countries if they might be aware of any groups of young people they already work with you might be interested in telling us their views on these resources.
If you feel this is something young people engaged in your service may be interested in, it’d be great to book some time in to discuss further. Please email our National Youth Voice Worker – Melissa Adler [email protected]
