Night Light Impact Report 2025
Posted on
Dear colleagues,
We are pleased to share the Night Light Impact Report 2025, which sets out the reach, learning, and safeguarding impact of the Night Light partnership over the past year.
Night Light is a collaborative project between Barnardo’s and Avon and Somerset Police, working directly with women involved in street sex work as trusted partners in safeguarding children and disrupting sexual exploitation. The report provides an overview of our core values and shared vision, alongside examples of how trauma-informed, relationship-based outreach has led to the identification of children at risk, the disruption of high-risk offenders, and improved safety for both women and young people.
While not all preventative impact can be quantified, this year’s findings provide compelling evidence of the difference Night Light is making in tackling violence against women and children within the night-time economy.
We hope this report is useful in informing practice, partnership working, and future discussions about safeguarding, prevention, and national replication. We would welcome the opportunity to discuss the learning further or explore ways of working together.
Thank you for your continued interest and support.
Kind regards,
Jo and Rose
