NWG, Missing People and NPCC Survey 2022
Posted on
The charities Missing People and NWG Network are collaborating, alongside the National Police Chief’s Council (NPCC), to better understand what happens to children and young people who are regularly going missing as they transition to adulthood.
We know going missing can be a warning sign of serious harm including exploitation, mental health issues and abuse.
We also know that Looked After Children are at higher risk of going missing than others and that some will go missing repeatedly.
With this survey we are looking for information from local areas about what is happening in their area, the challenges they are facing in the response for young adults who continue to go missing, and any good practices around the transition age.
This survey should only take up to 10 minutes to fill out and will help us to encourage good practice nationally.
