Probationary Period: 6 Month

Job Summary
- To provide professional, efficient, and effective administrative support to NWG Network, ensuring efficient and effective running of the charity office and daily business.
- To support the Charity in the management and administration of its charity obligations.
- To oversee our Governance policies and procedures are up to date.
- To be the designated health and safety officer for the charity.
- To be the designated GDPR officer for the charity
- To support the CEO in the management of the organisation.
- To reconcile and report finances to CEO and Trustees.
Skills required
- Be highly organised and efficient
- The Charity Administrator will need to have excellent time management and organisational skills to be able to deal with a multitude of tasks and a range of priorities.
- Strong IT skills in Microsoft applications be competent in Outlook, Word, Excel.
- Have problem-solving skills and need to be practical, proactive, unflappable, and able to use their own initiative.
- Have a good working knowledge of GDPR and ISO compliances.
- Have a good working knowledge of Health & Safety within the workplace.
- Have a good background in managing financial reconciliation and reporting.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Be responsible for the smooth running of the charity, dealing with emails and post
- Establishing and maintain an efficient cloud filing system.
- To oversee the finance and undertaking reporting.
- Deal with visitors to the offices, including arranging refreshments when required.
- Maintain office supplies, creating purchase orders
- Train for the key roles of fire warden and first aid officer
- Ensuring we maintain our ISO standard, including undertaking the annual assessment
- Ensure we comply with our Health and Safety standards, including undertaking the annual assessment.
- To manage the induction of new staff, company training requirements and support the HR function of the organisation.
- Assist with other work, events and projects as needed.
- Secretariat role for the Trustees.

COVID-19 considerations:
During covid, we have been offering flexible working from home or the office and coming together on a Wednesday team meeting. When in the office we have set procedures to follow including mask-wearing, clear desk, and lateral flow test expectations.
