Opportunity to work with a friendly established team of 17, some of whom work remotely across the country. We are relatively flexible about when the hours are worked over the week, covering the 22.5 hours over 3, 4 or 5 days.

Job Title: Charity Administrator – NWG Network

Salary: £25-30K per annum pro rota

Benefits Employers pension contribution of 3%, sick pay for up to 1 month

Hours: 22.5 per week flexible working arrangements

Holidays: 6 weeks holiday pro rota plus bank holidays

Contract: Permanent

Reporting to: Deputy CEO

Office Location: Innovation House, East Service Road, Raynesway, Derby DE21 7BF

This is primarily an office-based job, working from home is available when applicable.

Probationary Period: 6 Month

Job Purpose: The provision of high-quality charity and office management, financial oversight, and administration in maintaining and further developing the systems and processes within the charity.

Job Summary

– To provide professional, efficient, and effective financial and administrative support to NWG Network, ensuring the efficient and effective running of the charity, office and daily business.

· To support the Charity in the management and administration of its charity obligations.

– To oversee, manage and report the finances to CEO, D/CEO and Trustees.

· To ensure our Governance policies and procedures are up to date.

· To be the designated health and safety officer for the charity.

· To be the designated GDPR officer for the charity

· To support the CEO in the administration of the organisation.

· Support the bookkeeper role.

Skills required:

· Be highly organised and efficient.

· Have a good background in managing financial reconciliation, reporting, budget setting and grant reporting.

· Working knowledge of the Xero accounting package

· The Charity Administrator will need to have excellent time management and organisational skills to be able to deal with a multitude of tasks and a range of priorities.

· Strong IT skills in Microsoft applications be competent in Outlook, Word, and Excel.

· Have problem-solving skills and need to be practical, proactive, work well under pressure and be able to use their own initiative.

· Have a good working knowledge of GDPR and ISO compliances.

· Have a good working knowledge of Health & Safety within the workplace.

Main duties and responsibilities

· Be responsible for the smooth running of the charity, including dealing with contracts, office tenders, and charity administration.

· Establishing and maintaining an efficient cloud-based filing system.

· To oversee the finance and undertaking budgeting and reporting.

· Travel and accommodation management

· Secretariat role for the Trustees

· To manage the recruitment and administration of new staff, company training requirements

– To support the D/CEO with the HR function of the organisation. E.g., system and processes.

· Ensuring we maintain our ISO standard, including undertaking the annual assessment.

· Ensure we comply with our Health and Safety standards, including undertaking the annual assessment.

· Deal with visitors to the offices, including arranging refreshments when required.

· Maintain office supplies, maintain purchase/expense systems, and manage organisational contracts and tender opportunities.

· Responsibility for the key roles of fire warden and first aid officer

· Assist with other work, events and projects as needed.
