Parents Against Child Sexual Exploitation (Pace)

Pace is a national charity based in Leeds that works alongside parents and other family carers of children who are, or at risk of being, sexually exploited by perpetrators external to the family. We offer guidance and training to professionals on how child sexual exploitation affects the whole family. Set up in 1996, Pace has 21 years’ experience of working alongside affected parents, and promoting the need for parents to be an integral part of the response to combating child sexual exploitation as valued active partners with long-term knowledge of their child. We have supported over 1,500 families nationally, given training to 34,000 professionals around the country, contributed to policies on tackling child sexual exploitation, undertaken research, and produced publications based on our work with families over the years.
