Recruitment Opportunity Deputy Head of Services – Abianda

- Are you an experienced operational manager, able to lead project teams to deliver the highest quality support to girls and young women affected by criminal exploitation and violence?
- Do you have extensive safeguarding and practice experience with robust legislative knowledge across child protection, modern-day slavery, policing and crime, and other areas relevant to our work?
- Are you able to effectively manage and support multiple small teams, ensuring the difference they make is understood and shared with accurate reporting to partners and funders?
We are looking for a Deputy Head of Services. The Deputy Head of Services is a new interim role with operational responsibility for all services delivered to young women and girls. The post holder will join the organisation at an exciting time of long-term strategy development and will have a key role in ensuring consistently high-quality service delivery and supporting the development of practice and partnerships until the new strategy is implemented. You will line-manage Service Managers and Senior Practitioners, oversee operational delivery plans and provide support and guidance on service-related issues.
- Salary: £41,000 per annum, plus pension (pro rata for length of contract)
- Full-time (35 hours per week)
- Fixed-term contract until 31 January 2024 (possibility of extension)
- 25 days holiday per year (pro rata for the length of contract), plus 3 to be taken in Dec when the office is closed and all bank holidays
