Recruitment Opportunity – New and Emerging Communities Worker

NEW AND EMERGING COMMUNITIES WORKER
Safe & Sound is working towards a world where children and young people are free from sexual abuse and exploitation
Safe & Sound provides services to young people affected by child sexual abuse and exploitation in Derby and Derbyshire, and delivers training across the UK to those working in children’s services, health, and law enforcement, equipping them with the knowledge and understanding to respond effectively to individuals affected by exploitation and abuse.
We are now looking for an individual who is fluent in English and at least one of the following; Slovak, Czech, Polish, Romany to develop a new project to support children, young people and their families from new and emerging communities in Derby City.
You will have an understanding of and empathy with issues affecting people from migrant communities, and a good level of knowledge about the services available to new and emerging communities and of the differing community groups and needs in Derby.
