A Senior Practitioner (County Lines, Slavery and Trafficking) within our County Lines Task Force Safeguarding team is required for a Part-Time, Fixed term contract role paying up to £45,730.91 (FTE) per annum, plus £3,033.56 London Allowance per annum (if applicable) with the British Transport Police (BTP) based at FHQ Crime, Ivason House.

BTP is the national police Force for the rail network throughout Great Britain, including the London Underground, across which we ensure the safety and security of nearly 3 billion passenger journeys and over 100 million tons of freight every year. The world in which we work is fast-paced, operationally and commercially demanding, and constantly changing.

Safeguarding is a key priority for British Transport Police in their work to tackle exploitation including County Lines, Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking. The child exploitation senior practitioner is part of the County Lines Task Force Safeguarding team and supports the prepare, protect, and prevent functions. The purpose of this role is to provide advice, guidance, training and operational support to improve preventative and statutory responses to exploitation, slavery and trafficking.
