About the Resilience Task Force

The campaign centres on our call to Government to convene a Resilience Task Force with the appropriate mandate and funding to support the Government’s response to the damaging and costly social and psychological consequences of the coronavirus pandemic.

The proposed Task Force is committed to working with the Government and its representatives to build and execute a response plan, using our collective experience, expertise, networks and resources.

• An open letter issued to Matt Hancock
• A dedicated website that provides further information about the campaign and encourages organisations and people to pledge their support at www.resiliencetaskforce.co.uk 
• #resiliencetaskforce launched on Twitter and LinkedIn with ongoing social media activity
• Encouraging supporters to write to and tweet their MPs
• A press release and media activity fronted by Sir Normal Lamb and Dr Warren Larkin

The story has featured in today’s Telegraph and there’s planned coverage on BBC today.

How you can get involved

Your support to the campaign is vital.

Please publicly show your support, encouraging others to get involved and help launch the Resilience Task Force campaign.

• Social media – post on Twitter and LinkedIn using #resiliencetaskforce and interact with other posts. Assets, including, banners, images and a profile picture layer are available to download on the website.
• Your supporters – email, call, tweet your contacts and ask them to get involved
• Contact your MP – one of the key asks of the campaign is to ask as many people as possible to contact their MP urging them to back the campaign.
