Review into Criminal Injuries Compensation-a Survey

Posted on

The Victims’ Commissioner is currently undertaking a review into Criminal Injuries Compensation. The review will look at victims’ whole experiences of claiming Criminal Injuries Compensation, including their experience of the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority, and their wider experience of seeking and receiving advice and support in making their applications. The review will aim to identify any particular frustrations or blockages in the system and whether there are any aspects which work well.

The Ministry of Justice has been asked to make key stakeholders aware of this survey, in order to encourage as wide a sample of respondents as possible. Please do pass it on to your networks.

The survey can be accessed directly at https://smartsurvey.co.uk/s/VCcriminalinjuries/ and is also available on the Victims’ Commissioners website www.victimscommissioner.org.uk. It should take 10-15 minutes to complete.
