Head of Direct Delivery

Bina brings almost 20 years’ experience at the forefront of tackling Child Exploitation, with a career spanning frontline intelligence, national policy influence, and strategic system leadership. She began her professional journey in police forensic intelligence and analytics, supporting high-profile Child Sexual Exploitation investigations and developing a robust, evidence-led understanding of abuse patterns, offender behaviour, and the effectiveness of systemic responses.

Bina works in close partnership with Safeguarding Partnerships, government departments, and leading national voluntary sector organisations to strengthen both operational and strategic multi-agency responses to Child Exploitation. Her work is driven by a strong commitment to improving systems, workforce capability, and partnership practice to achieve better outcomes for exploited children, young people, and their families.

She leads national networking forums that bring together professionals across sectors to share learning, identify emerging risks, and co-produce practical tools, resources, and guidance. These forums take a solution-focused, practice-informed approach that supports both frontline practitioners and strategic leaders.

Bina has led the development of nationally recognised awareness-raising campaigns, assessment frameworks, and practice tools, cited by the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse (IICSA) as examples of good practice. She has also contributed to government policy consultations and national research, playing a key role in shaping policy, influencing practice, and informing legislative change.

As Head of Direct Delivery at NWG, Bina provides strategic leadership across national delivery programmes and leads a multi-disciplinary team of highly skilled professionals. She is responsible for ensuring high-quality, evidence-informed support to the safeguarding workforce, driving continuous improvement in responses to Child Exploitation through strong partnership working and system-wide impact.
