Unchosen uses short films to tell people about modern slavery in the UK.

We’re delighted to say that our new Modern Slavery Film Competition is NOW OPEN!

This year’s competition is broader and more inclusive than our previous competitions. We’re still looking for great films about modern slavery, but this year we’re asking ANYONE who has made a film about modern slavery in the last two years to enter our competition, that is less than 20 minutes long.

The competition is open from August 8th to December 15th with an early bird fee for those that submit their films before December 1st. All shortlisted filmmakers will be invited to our high-profile Film Awards Evening in February/March 2018.

This is a unique chance to make a film that really matters, and which could help to end modern slavery in the UK. If you know any filmmakers with a vision, who may be interested in making a film or may have already made a film addressing the modern slavery issue, please forward on our competition details.

If you have seen a film that has shone a light on modern slavery then send in your nomination to [email protected] with as much detail as you can including, film title, filmmaker, plot summary, date it was made, etc

As a thank you for your nomination you will be invited to attend our glittering award ceremony to be held end of February 2018.
